dream of,wish,expect,hope的区别

（1）dream of: 梦到 | 梦想 | 向往 | 梦想，向往
是动词词组，后接V-ing和名词
1. Against all the odds she achieved her dream of becoming a ballerina.
她冲破重重困难, 实现了当芭蕾舞演员的梦想.

2. But in a dream of love.
而是从梦见爱的梦中醒来。
（2）wish n. 希望,愿望,祝颂 v. 愿,想要,希望 （多指不能实现的愿望）

1 I wish I could talk like you.
但愿我能像你那样会说话。

（3）expect v 期望 | 预期,预料 | 期待 | 预期 （）
The journey was not as nice as we had expected.
旅途不象我们预想的那样好。

（4）hope（是个常用词，不是特别正式） n.
1. 希望，期望，指望
2. 被寄予希望的人(或物)
3. 所希望的东西；期望的事
4. 抱有希望的理由；希望的根据；可能性

例句: I hope he won't come.（ 结构是 somebody hope somebody do something）
我希望他别来。
I hoped to have seen you in Paris last week.(结构是somebody hope to do someyhing)

a member of和 a number of 用法和意思是一样的 :很多的什么什么
如 ： A number of species have disappeared from the earth.
许多物种已经从地球上灭绝了。

the member of 和 the number of 用法和意思是一样的：......的数目，谓语动词用单数 如：
The number of tigers has reduced abruptly in the last fifty years.

earn:
vt.
1. 挣得(工资、薪水等)，赚得，挣(钱)，谋(生):
例句: to earn one's living谋生
She earned her living as an interpreter.

win：vi赢得,胜利,成功

今天我们篮球队准赢。（不能接名词，可以接介词）

gain vt 得到,增进,获利
to gain somebody a supporter
使某人获得一位支持者

vt挣得，赚得，获利，得益： （与earn没有太大的区别）
例句: to gain a livelihood 谋生
to gain ten pounds 赚得10英镑

--把straightly 改为straight，因为went（go ）是系动词，系动词是形容词adj修饰，

--把exciting 改为 excited,因为根据句子的意思:从她的兴奋的表情,我们知道她已通过了驾驶考试.excited expression是兴奋的表情,而exciting expression是令人兴奋的表情,exciting是修饰物的,excited 是
修饰人的

dream of是“梦想......”的意思；wish 是“希望”，这种 希望 往往难以实现；expect 是“期望”，可以是对自己的期望，也可以是对别人的期望；

hope 是“希望”，是普通用语。可以说wish somebody to do something，但不可以说 hope somebody to do something,可以用 hope to do something。

a member of 是“许多......”谓语用复数； , the member of 是指“什么什么的数量”谓语用单数。

1.在choose后加 from,choose from 是固定词组。

straightly 去掉“ly”，本身可以做副词用，“径直地”。

exciting 改成excited,修饰人用ed形式。
