Mathtype公式在Word被自动保存后变成图片格式，无法编辑

1、公式输入要用【插入】菜单→【对象】→【Microsoft公式3.0】来完成，尽管它功能有限，但是对于日常的常用公式是完全胜任的，最重要的是，它生成的公式没有先天缺陷，即的公式在任何情况下打开都是可以修改的，不会自动转成图片。不要使用MathType这个高级的公式编辑器，尽管功能很强大，但是它与Word的兼容度不完美，经常会出现公式转图片的问题。
2、Word版本的问题，特别是高版本的Word2007中录入的MathType公式，到了Word2003中就公式自动转图片，这与是否安装MathType无关，总之就是不能用。
3、不要轻易用域转文本（CTRL+SHIFT+F9)命令。公式是属于域，这种转换是不可逆的。公式属于OLE对象，实际情况是，MathType公式如果损坏，就无法再与MathType建立OLE链接，即成了死图片，不再是公式了。

Prevention
Microsoft recommends turning off the Auto-save function in Word. Note however, this is a prevention and will not repair equations that have already become non-editable pictures. The steps to disable auto-save are different for each version of Word whether on the Macintosh or on the Windows platforms. Simply look for the "Save" preferences for your version of Word and remove the check mark from "Save Auto-recovery data every x minutes."
