The relationship between English literature and English studies

Writing is one of the greatest victory that has been achived by the man kind. By its invention, we have recorded most of our history on a material called the "books". Perhaps the earlist time that a child could remember a thing, is probably your mother reading you a bed time story. As we grow order, books can be carried through out our whole life.

In English history, we have the famous litterateur Shakespeare. He is one of the greatest model of philosophers, litterateurs and Screenwriters. He recorded all his lifetime work on books and so it can be lasted until now. No DVD disc, hard drive or tape could last this long.

I'm just trying to tell how important books are, but the true meaning of books are to read them. We say if a person really wanted to learn a language, they have to be in the country where the language is spoken. However, most of the time, people who wanted to learn English cannot always go to where English is spoken. We'll have to do it some other way, than the only way left to make it better is to reed English books.

We learn English from English teachers, but you can't bring the English teacher with you through out your whole life. Once the teacher taught you how to pronounce, how to read and all the other basic principles, you are on your own. But the better teacher is to read yourself. They are all over you. The English section of any book store, advertisements, Foreign channels and other sources are everywhere.

Of course, you can just learn to listen, but you'll just become a blind person in English studying.
