"Here it is."与"Here you are."都可以表示"你(们)要的东西在这儿."或"你(们)找的东西在这里.".在购物、寻物、索要东西等情况时,两者通常可换用.如：
-Where is my pen?我的钢笔在哪儿?
-Here it is./ Here you are.给你.
但在表示"给别人东西或钱"时,"Here it is."是把侧重点放在东西上,而Here you are.是把侧重点放在对方上,试比较：
