英语 请问leave后的to什么意思

leave to只能加地点。而leave for既可以是地点，也可以是人或事物。
leave + 某物+ to + 人

1）表示放弃

There is nothing we can do about the situation. Let's leave it to the will of God. (我们对这种情况无能为力，只能听从上帝的旨意了)
2）表示遗嘱　(文艺腔）
I will leave this watch to one of my grandchildren.
（我将把手表留给我的孙子。）
3）表示分配

I will leave this last little bit of the job to you.
（我把剩下的任务交给你啦。）
4）当然，你永远都可以用动词+to　表示目的
I am leaving to get there on time.
