The most unforgettable person
Of all the teachers who have ever taught us, Mr. Chang is most unforgettable
to me. He is our teacher of English. He has gray hair, bright eyes,
broad shoulders and strong arms. Although he is in his fifties, he usually
comes to the classroom briskly like sweeping winds. He always starts the
class exactly according to the time schedule. When he starts to talk to
the students in English, his voice is like the sound of the resonant ringing bell
and even the students at the back rows can hear him clearly. His oral English
is fluent and written perfect, for he once worked in the UN as a simultaneous
interpreter. He respects and cares about the students whose English is
poor. From time to time he organizes free amateur English classes for these
students. However he is very restrictive with us. Whenever we make
some English mistakes, he will ask us to correct them and copy the
same sentences at least 3 times. We all like his lectures for his teaching is
always full of humor and laughing stocks. Of all the teachers in our school,
I’ll remember Mr. Chang for ever.
