As is shown in the picture above ,there is a candidate standing in front of a group of people and he wants to apply for a position. If he wants to get the assignment, he must firstly gain these audience's support. Howerver, apparently ,the audience sitting there are upset about his appearance, each thinking about "his tie is too blue, i'm voting for the other guy."
The picture is simple but conveys a kind of increasingly popular public opionion, that is judging people with their appearance. When we evaluate someone, we gradually pay more attention on their appearance instead of their competence and quality, which will cause a lot of problems. When the good-looking person we chose is incompetent, he may not be able to finish his work very well.
In fact ,appearance shouldn't be the only factor we should consider when judge people. We should have a comprehensive evaluating system to pick up the right person for the position.
