go on的用法

可以单独用，表示“继续”的意思，也可以和个别单词连用。比如当你跟别人说继续的时候可以直接说“go
on”或者也可以说“Let's
go
on”
而go
on也是一个短语，有固定句式分别是“go
on
to
do
sth.”
“go
on
doing
sth”
前者表示做完一件事之后接着再做另一件不同的事
后者表示做同一件事，只是前面做了一段时间休息，再接着做的时候用。

go on指时间的缓慢流逝，有延续的意味，一般不单独使用，总在从句中，有主句内容随从句时间变换而发展之意,比如

As time went on , his theory proved to be correct.随着时间的推移，他的理论被证明是正确的。
