例如：Consumption C = 100 +0.8(Y - T), disposable income equals 1000, and Y = 2000. MPC is found by taking consumption and dividing it by disposable income (Y-T). I get this, but i do not understand how the book gets 0.8.

即：The first 100 in the consumption function is a fixed amount, unrelated to income level or savings rate. It's autonomous consumption. So the ratio of .8 is the amount of disposable income (income - taxes) that you will consume. The rest you save.
