dream of / about doing something 通常都是可以交替使用

不过要注意的是，一般用dream of的时候，都会表示对未来的一些梦想，如 ：
I dream of becoming a dancer. I dream of becoming a millionaire.

dream about 则常用于 梦见了什么
I dreamed about being kissed by my loved one. I dreamed about being hit by a meteor.

不会用dream to do something

后者：你有一个梦，怎样怎样，你要着手去实现你的梦。

dream of doing sth 梦见某事 dreamto do sth 梦想去做某事

区别主要在它们的后接成分上．
dream of +sth /doing sth
dream to +从句

dream to do 有强调的意思，强调梦想是什么
dream of/about doing sth 只是说明梦想是什么

前者是梦想什么什么
后者是梦想去做什么什么
