鹩哥属分五种：
鹩哥Gracula religiosa、
南鹩哥Gracula indica、
恩加鹩哥Gracula enganensis、
尼亚鹩哥Gracula robusta、
斯里兰卡鹩哥Gracula ptilogenys
主要分布于南亚和东南亚。
我国仅鹩哥1种，又称九宫鸟。
