English 表示“英语”时不用加定冠词the,因为所以表示语言的词都不用加定冠词
比如：I can speak Chinese/Japanese.
但是如果表示的是“英语这门语言”那么就得说the English language这是对英语这门语言的特征，而不是说“英语”。我们也可以说the Spanish language 或the Chinese language
