Lastly month, a new girl joined our class and the teacher arranged her to sit beside me. We soon became friends. However, an incident happened last week and unfortunately, we lost our friendship. She told me that she came from a poor family and would like to borrow $1000 from me. I found her pitiful and therefore decided to help her. She promised to return the money in two weeks. However, she then refused to keep her promise. I was very disappointed because I felt like being cheated. This is how our friendship turns sour.
