Short Communication 和 Regular Paper 有区别吗

　　区别很大，主要是意思不同。
　　short communication：简报型论；简单的对话；简讯。
　　regular paper：一般论文；普通纸；普通纸张。
　　分析：他们都是名词短语。形容词+中心名词构成。
　　例如：
　　Pupils are able to make short communication about animals.
　　学生能进行简单的关于动物的对话交流。
　　This short communication is a succinct overview of this field.
　　本文就该领域的一些概况做一简要的介绍。
　　A usually short communication is transmitted by words from one person, station, or group to another.
　　通常较短的消息都是从一个人、一站或一群人传给另一人、另一站或另一群人以语言形式传送的。
　　They look much more sturdy than regular paper lamps.
　　它们看起来比一般纸灯笼坚固多了。

short paper,short communication都是同一个意思（简报，快报的意思），都是指一些篇幅比较短（一般是4页以下），内容比较少但是具有一定的原创型和新颖性的文章。
我们一般发表的文章叫做full length paper，regular paper（长文章），是指内容充实，研究比较完整，分析比较充分的文章，文章的篇幅比较长，常规的full length paper，regular paper一般都在10页左右，甚至更长。
